Hi, I am an artist. Currently reside in Forest Park. A colleague recommended that I attend the church one Sunday. I’ve been reading posts of poetry and find it so inspiring and speaking to my heart. I would like to know if the events posted are current for this year. I’m interested in attending.

Hi, Tiffany. It’s great to hear from you and thanks for the encouragement regarding the posts! We have no shortage of writers, so we could fill quite a few blogs if we tried. (Many folks have their own blogs, in fact.) We love meeting new people, so you absolutely should come out and visit one Sunday. The events here are current, but we are in the midst of an exciting new transition and will have more to add soon.
We meet at Brooks Junior High in Oak Park on Washington/Kennilworth. You can find details about our services, events, etc. on our main church website (itself a work in progress at the minute) at http://www.greaterchicagochurch.com.
